NEW - More than 1 million acceleration cycles for IPM synchronous rotor

To investigate the fatigue strength of IPM synchronous rotors with internal magnets, e+a carried out an acceleration test and achieved more than 1 million acceleration cycles.

The test rig used for this purpose is scalable and can be used for extended investigations. Contact us, we will be happy to advise you on the choice of the right motor element for you.

e+a motor elements are airborne

For the all-electric aircraft e-Sling, which was developed and built as part of a student project at ETH Zurich, e+a acted as sponsor for the electromagnetic and mechanical design as well as the production of the motor elements for the aircraft propulsion system.

With a take-off power of 110 kW at 2300 min-1, the power-to-weight ratio of the air-cooled motor is 5 kW/kg.
